Filming With iPhone, Android, Or Tablet

Using your smart device to film is optional. Kini, the instructor, started filming with her iPhone for years and has never gone back to using her DSLR camera. Her clients never had any complaints. It could be because today’s smart devices have amazing resolution quality.

Many Youtubers, influencers, artists are using their phones and make very good income. Not to mention, it’s not an added cost because most of us have one anyway, and, BONUS – you can hold it in the palm of your hand.

  • How long is the course?

The overall course is just under three hours if videos are played back-to-back. The videos on editing green screen are step-by-step tutorials, so there will be a lot of pause-and-play as students follow along and edit their green screen assignments.

  • What else does this course teach besides removing the green?

This course definitely covers the fundamentals to adding elements that raise the value of production. For example: overlays, transitions, sound effects, animation, and more. VSA removes the fluff and gets straight to teaching step-by-step, so students should anticipate a lot of stop-and-play when following along and editing their assignments.

  • Are there any free video courses to preview?

Yes. Chapter 3 Essential Tools For Green Screen Filming. VSA makes this lesson plan free so that you can get an understanding of what is needed. For those that are on a tight budget, the chapter also provides a list of the suggested bare minimum for the course.

To get access to Chapter 3, you can sign up today to the VSA with no obligation to enroll.

  • How long do enrolled students have access to the course?

Lifetime access (as long as VSA is operating). We don't plan on going anywhere for a long time. Kini Hudson, the instructor, happily admits that VSA is her passion project and wants to do a lot more. Stay tuned!

  • What is the refund policy?

There is a 24 hour 50% refund policy. For example, if an enrolled student pays the full price of $239 and decides to cancel enrollment, the refund is 50% of $239 = $119.50

  • How much is the Adobe Premiere Pro subscription and why does the instructor encourage video editing with it?

Adobe generally offers a 7-day free trial. The regular monthly is an affordable $20.99 if paying yearly -OR- $31.49/mth.
Adobe offers a student discount rate.
    If you're a business, Adobe, gives a 14-day trial.

    -100GB of cloud storage

(Adobe may change subscription rates and offers. VSA does its best to update info)

In addition to keying out the green (or blue), Premiere Pro has a range of special effects that make videos stand out. It’s reasonably priced and the Pros use it because it is the best video editing software. It can be used in Windows and Mac. You can also add texts, graphics, and animate them.

  • Why take this course when there are a lot of videos on learning green screen?

That’s true. And it’s also true that there are a lot of videos and sites on what tools are needed for green screen, how to set up lighting the green screen, and practicing on-camera presentations. But you’d have to go from one video and/or platform to another, forcing you to navigate and learn from multiple sources.

Totally time consuming. But isn't your time valuable?

Not that there’s anything wrong with trying to figure out which youtube or website is best to follow and learn from, but why do that when you can get all the learning video courses IN ONE PLACE? Video courses that are strategically put in an order to make you learn the best, easiest, and most proficient way.

VSA offers more than keying out the green lessons. The course provides a variety of on-camera presentation formats (in front of green screen) + scripts for each presentation. Students use their presentations (raw takes) and edit along with VSA's step-by-step tutorials. These formats include the following:
    -You x 2 (twins)
    -Animation (no script)
