  • How long is the course?

The overall course is just under three hours if videos are played back-to-back. The videos on editing green screen are step-by-step tutorials, so there will be a lot of stop-and-play as students follow along and edit their green screen assignments.

  • Are there any on-camera assignments?

Yes! That's the best part. There are five (5) on-camera assignments that give hands-on experience on filming and editing (keying out the green and much more). The course highly recommends to do the on-camera assignments to get familiar with camera settings, lighting the green screen, practicing presentation, and editing.

    The on-camera assignments include:
-Assignment 1: Introduce yourself (no green screen)
    -Assignment 2: Basic-to-Advance
    -Assignment 3: You x 2
    -Assignment 4: Newsroom
    -Assignment 5: Animation

  • What else does this course teach besides removing the green?

This course definitely covers the fundamentals to adding elements that raise the value of production. For example: overlays, transitions, sound effects, animation, and more. VSA removes the fluff and gets straight to teaching step-by-step, so students should anticipate a lot of stop-and-play when following along and editing their assignments.

  • Are there any free video courses to preview?

Yes. Chapter 3 Essential Tools For Green Screen Filming. VSA makes this lesson plan free so that you can get an understanding of what is needed. For those that are on a tight budget, the chapter also provides a list of the suggested bare minimum for the course.

To get access to Chapter 3, you can sign up today to the VSA with no obligation to enroll.

  • How long do enrolled students have access to the course?

Lifetime access (as long as VSA is operating). We don't plan on going anywhere for a long time. Kini Hudson, the instructor, happily admits that VSA is her passion project and wants to do a lot more. Stay tuned!

  • What is the refund policy?

There is a 24 hour 50% refund policy. For example, if an enrolled student pays the full price of $239 and decides to cancel enrollment, the refund is 50% of $239 = $119.50
